Hello
I'm Joe, the Director and Lead Instructor at RTJ Training Ltd. I’m not just passionate about teaching—I’m obsessed with empowering individuals to master life-saving skills that truly make a difference. With over 30 years of experience delivering high-impact training both across the UK and internationally, I’ve honed a unique ability to connect with people from all walks of life, regardless of background or culture. When it comes to training, I don’t just talk theory—I bring real-world experience, energy, and a commitment to excellence. At RTJ, we don’t just teach skills, we ignite confidence that lasts a lifetime.
My Story
My journey into teaching life-saving skills started as a teenager, when I first discovered the power of first aid. Fast forward, and I found myself serving a full career in the military, much of which was spent as an instructor. I trained not only military personnel but also emergency services personnel around the globe—from the USA to the Middle East and Africa. I’ve had the privilege of working with people from every walk of life, delivering high-level training that has shaped careers and saved lives.
When my time in the service came to an end, I knew it was time to turn my expertise into a legacy. I launched RTJ Training Ltd with one mission in mind: to equip others with the life-saving skills, knowledge, and confidence they need to make a difference. Training people worldwide has been an incredible journey, and I’m still at it—spreading my passion for empowering others to step up when it matters most. If you're ready to learn from someone who has real-world experience and a commitment to excellence, let’s make it happen.
